Job Description

Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience in Analytics, Data Engineering, or data-focused products — you've successfully delivered data-driven solutions that meet enterprise-level operational excellence. Your expert-level knowledge of SQL allows you to manipulate and analyze data effectively, while your strong proficiency in Python enables you to build robust applications and tooling. You have experience interfacing with streaming data and data warehousing environments, which has equipped you with a comprehensive understanding of data architecture and management.

Your strong experience with DBT and Kafka demonstrates your ability to work with modern data tools and frameworks — you understand the importance of data quality and have implemented best practices in your previous roles. You are passionate about mentoring other engineers, helping them grow technically, and leading by example through producing clean, well-tested code and thorough documentation. You thrive in collaborative environments, partnering closely with product teams to develop requirements for complex data-driven products.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms and data visualization tools would be a plus, as would familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools. You are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies, and you appreciate the value of a diverse team in driving innovation.

What you'll do

You will mentor other engineers on the team, fostering their technical growth and ensuring high standards of code quality and documentation. Leading by example, you will produce clean, well-tested code and operational excellence in all your projects.

You will partner closely with a world-class Product Team to develop requirements for delivering complex data-driven products — your ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders throughout the company will be crucial in instituting best practices aimed at managing data quality. You will also be involved in rearchitecting and building the next generation of solutions that our clients have come to appreciate and love, ensuring that our offerings remain competitive and innovative.

We offer a collaborative and inclusive work environment where your contributions will have a direct impact on the ticketing industry. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and be part of a team that values diversity and innovation.
