Who you are
You have extensive experience in regulatory compliance, particularly within the financial services sector, and a deep understanding of FCA CASS regulations. Your leadership skills are proven, and you have a track record of building high-performing teams that can scale with business growth. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with executive teams, regulators, and auditors to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
You are strategic in your approach, able to provide oversight and direction for complex regulatory frameworks. Your ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including the Board and external auditors, is a key strength. You are passionate about transforming outdated industry practices and are committed to driving positive change within your organization.
What you'll do
As the Head of CASS, you will take on end-to-end responsibility for Seccl’s CASS framework, ensuring it remains robust, compliant, and scalable as the business grows. You will lead the CASS function, collaborating with teams across reconciliations, transfers, payments, and trading to ensure seamless operations. Your role will involve strategic oversight, providing direction to ensure that all obligations under FCA CASS regulations are met.
You will work closely with the executive team and the Board to influence strategic decisions and ensure that the CASS framework aligns with the company's mission and growth objectives. Your leadership will be crucial in building a high-performing CASS function that can adapt to the evolving needs of the business. You will also be responsible for occasional travel to other offices, including Edinburgh and Bath, to maintain strong connections across the organization.
