Who you are
You have extensive experience in IT and security management, ideally with a focus on technology risk and cyber security. You understand the importance of balancing security measures with business productivity and profitability — your leadership style emphasizes collaboration and trust rather than authority. You are an exceptional communicator, able to translate complex technical risks into clear, actionable decisions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your ability to influence engineering teams and senior stakeholders is a key strength, allowing you to drive decisions and trade-offs effectively.
What you'll do
As the Head of IT & Security at Motorway, you will be accountable for managing the company's technology risk and cyber security posture. You will lead the core IT capabilities that support daily operations across various teams, ensuring that systems and tooling are reliable and effective. Your role will involve working closely with Engineering, Product, Legal, Finance, and People teams to make informed decisions about risk and investment. You will also oversee incident response and monitoring, ensuring that the company's security measures scale in line with business growth.
