You thrive in a fully remote environment and are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including CTOs and COOs, to deliver impactful solutions.

You are familiar with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, TISAX, and SOC 2, and understand the importance of automating these processes for businesses. Your experience with tools like Jira demonstrates your ability to manage projects effectively and keep track of progress in a fast-paced startup environment. You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys tackling complex challenges and finding innovative solutions.

Desirable

Experience with additional programming languages or frameworks is a plus, as is familiarity with security compliance automation tools. You are open to learning new technologies and methodologies that can enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Secfix, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our compliance automation platform. You will design and implement backend services that integrate seamlessly with various tech stacks, ensuring that our clients can easily achieve and maintain compliance. Your work will involve collaborating closely with product managers and other engineers to define requirements and deliver features that meet user needs.

You will be responsible for optimizing existing systems and ensuring they can handle increasing loads as we scale. This includes writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews to uphold our high standards of quality. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and helping them grow in their roles.
