What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Socure, you will lead the design and implementation of distributed systems that are critical to our identity trust infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with product-focused teams to ensure that the systems you build not only meet functional requirements but also excel in performance and reliability.

Your role will involve taking ownership of critical non-functional requirements, ensuring that our systems are scalable, secure, and reliable. You will engage in the entire software development lifecycle, from architecture and implementation to testing, documentation, and production support.

You will mentor fellow engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. Your hands-on approach will allow you to remain deeply involved in development while also guiding your team through complex challenges.

You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and drive satisfaction through continuous improvement of our product suite. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of identity verification and fraud prevention.
