What you'll do

As the Lead Threat Detection and Response Engineer, you will mature Sendbird's threat detection program by analyzing gaps and implementing detective controls — your role will involve coordinating and driving resolution on a diverse range of security incidents, ensuring that the organization is prepared to respond effectively.

You will develop and deploy detection strategies using engineering practices, including testing and validation, to ensure that security measures are robust and effective — your focus on automation will help streamline incident response processes, allowing the team to react quickly to potential threats.

You will mentor other members of the security team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement — your guidance will help elevate the team's capabilities and ensure that everyone is equipped to handle security challenges. You will also partner with other teams to enhance Sendbird's overall security posture, collaborating on initiatives that promote security awareness and best practices.

Researching and identifying new attack vectors against Sendbird's products will be a key part of your role — you will conduct internal Red Team and Table Top activities to identify gaps in security and develop strategies to address them. Your insights will be invaluable in shaping the future of Sendbird's security initiatives.
