You have 5+ years of experience in Android development, with a strong understanding of the Android SDK and its ecosystem. Your expertise in Java and familiarity with modern Android frameworks like Jetpack Compose set you apart as a candidate. What you'll do
As a Senior Mobile Engineer at Sentry, you will take ownership of the Android SDK, guiding its development from core architecture to final product experience. You will pioneer exciting new features such as Profiling and Session Replay, ensuring that our tools meet the needs of developers worldwide. Your role will involve collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define the roadmap and prioritize features that enhance the user experience.
You will also be responsible for writing clean, maintainable code and conducting code reviews to uphold high standards within the team. Your contributions will directly impact the performance and reliability of our SDK, helping developers monitor their applications effectively. You will participate in team discussions, sharing your insights and expertise to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
