You have over 7 years of experience in IT, with at least 4 years focused on cloud architecture — you've designed and implemented complex cloud-native architectures that meet diverse business needs. Your deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) allows you to navigate its extensive suite of services with ease, ensuring optimal performance and security in all your projects.

You are well-versed in cloud-native architecture patterns and best practices — your ability to define migration strategies and modernize existing systems has been proven in previous roles. You hold a Professional Cloud Architect certification, which showcases your commitment to excellence in cloud solutions.

Your experience includes advising clients on their cloud strategies — you understand the importance of aligning technology with business goals and have successfully led large-scale cloud transformations. You are also skilled in establishing governance frameworks that ensure compliance and security across cloud environments.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions — your communication skills enable you to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Desirable

Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud architectures is a plus, as is familiarity with tools like Anthos and GKE for serverless applications. Your background in mentoring junior architects and participating in community events will further enhance your fit for this role.

What you'll do

As a Cloud Architect GCP at SFEIR, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative cloud-native architectures that leverage the full capabilities of Google Cloud Platform. You will define migration strategies and modernization plans that align with client objectives, ensuring a smooth transition to the cloud.

You will establish architectural standards and best practices, guiding your team and clients in adopting these frameworks to optimize performance and security. Your role will involve advising clients on their cloud strategies, helping them navigate the complexities of cloud adoption and governance.

You will lead large-scale cloud transformation projects, ensuring that technical governance is maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing architectures for scalability and resilience, allowing clients to achieve their business goals effectively.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior architects, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them grow in their careers. You may also participate as a speaker at Google Cloud events, showcasing your expertise and contributing to the broader tech community.
