Who you are
You are an enthusiastic individual with a strong interest in marketing, nonprofit organizations, or the arts. You possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail that allows you to manage multiple tasks effectively. Previous experience in marketing or fundraising is preferred, as it will help you contribute meaningfully to the team. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software such as Adobe PDF, Word, and PowerPoint is essential for success in this role. You are passionate about SFMOMA’s mission and eager to support the Museum’s fundraising efforts, demonstrating a commitment to fostering connections within the community.
What you'll do
As a Membership Marketing Intern at SFMOMA, you will play a vital role in supporting the Membership Department's initiatives. You will assist in developing innovative marketing strategies aimed at acquiring and retaining members, ensuring that communications are personalized and engaging. Your responsibilities will include helping to manage membership renewals and upgrades, as well as contributing to the creation of marketing materials that highlight the benefits of membership. You will collaborate with team members to analyze data and assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing insights that drive sustained revenue growth. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in events and outreach efforts that connect the Museum with its diverse community.
What we offer
This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the nonprofit sector, particularly within a renowned cultural institution.
