You are a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of the 3D printing manufacturing process. You have experience operating manufacturing equipment and conducting quality control assessments. Your ability to assess the feasibility of prints and plan production effectively makes you a valuable asset to the team. You are proactive in identifying process improvements and have a keen eye for optimizing production efficiency.
You thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable liaising with supply chain teams to ensure customer timelines are met. Your organizational skills allow you to manage, stock, and prepare print materials efficiently. You are committed to maintaining high standards of quality and are always looking for ways to enhance the manufacturing process.
What you'll do
As a Process Technician at Shapeways, you will execute the complete 3D printing manufacturing process from start to finish. You will operate various equipment and assess the feasibility of prints based on material parameters. Planning the utilization and efficiency of 3D printers will be a key part of your role, ensuring that production timelines are met.
You will conduct quality control on products and equipment, ensuring that all outputs meet the high standards set by Shapeways. Your responsibilities will also include driving process improvements and automation to enable scaling of production. You will work closely with the supply chain team to optimize volume allocation and ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
