What you'll do

As the Lead AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud infrastructure for Shift4's mission-critical platforms — your work will directly impact the reliability and performance of services that handle billions of transactions annually. You will lead a team of engineers, managing projects and delegating tasks to ensure that all objectives are met.

You will implement infrastructure as code capabilities, utilizing tools like Terraform to automate the deployment and management of cloud resources — this will involve collaborating with your team to develop best practices and streamline processes. Your role will also include mentoring junior engineers, providing guidance and support as they tackle complex challenges.
