You have a strong background in full-stack engineering with experience in developing and maintaining complex systems. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working within cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Your technical expertise allows you to contribute to the design and architecture of systems, ensuring best practices are followed throughout the development process. You are proactive in diagnosing and resolving issues, collaborating with DevOps and operations teams to maintain system reliability. You hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or possess equivalent experience that demonstrates your capabilities in this area.

What you'll do

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer at Shift4, you will play a critical role in enhancing our payment platform. You will work hands-on with the technology stack to deliver new features and address any issues that arise. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the technical design and architecture of the platform, collaborating with team leads and engineering leadership to ensure that best practices are adhered to. You will also be involved in diagnosing and resolving issues with deployed systems, providing level 3 support as needed. Your role will require you to become a technical expert in specific areas of the platform, allowing you to guide and mentor junior engineers as they grow in their roles.
