Who you are
You have 1-3 years of experience in quality assurance, particularly in automation testing. You enjoy writing clean, reliable automation code and are eager to work on next-generation test frameworks and internal QA tools. Your background includes collaborating with senior engineers to enhance automation ecosystems, ensuring high reliability and coverage in testing.
You are proficient in Playwright and TypeScript, having designed and developed UI and API automation tests in previous roles. You maintain high-quality, readable test code and are skilled at debugging and triaging issues. Your collaborative spirit allows you to partner effectively with developers and QA leads to ensure smooth feature validation and stable releases.
Desirable
Experience with additional testing frameworks or tools is a plus, as is familiarity with agile methodologies. You are open to learning new technologies and adapting to evolving project requirements, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
What you'll do
In this role, you will design and develop UI and API automation tests using Playwright with TypeScript, contributing to the in-house automation framework by enhancing utilities, fixtures, and reusable modules. You will maintain high-quality test code, ensuring it is readable and reliable, while assisting in debugging and triaging issues as they arise.
You will collaborate closely with developers and QA leads to validate features and ensure stable releases. Your contributions will help improve the overall developer experience and the reliability of the automation ecosystem. You will also participate in code reviews, providing feedback to peers and learning from their insights.
