Job Description
Who you are
You have a proven track record in establishing and scaling quality systems within the aerospace sector — your experience includes developing and managing Quality Management Systems (QMS) that ensure compliance with FAA regulations. You understand the intricacies of OEM operations, supplier quality management, and the requirements of a Part 145 Repair Station. Your leadership skills are complemented by a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, including Part 21 (PMA) and Part 145 (MRO) operations.
You are passionate about aviation safety and have a strong commitment to driving continuous improvement initiatives — your expertise allows you to enhance the safety and reliability of operations effectively. You thrive in high-impact leadership roles and are adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals. Your analytical mindset enables you to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
What you'll do
As the Director of Quality, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of aircraft control systems — you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all aspects of the Quality Management System across Skyryse. This includes overseeing OEM operations, supplier quality management, and ensuring compliance with FAA regulations. You will lead initiatives to enhance the safety and reliability of operations, driving continuous improvement across the organization.
You will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and other departments to ensure that quality standards are met and maintained — your role will involve conducting audits, analyzing data, and implementing corrective actions as necessary. You will also be responsible for training and mentoring team members on quality standards and best practices, fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.
