Overview

Skyscanner is seeking a Principal Product Manager for their Advertising Team to enhance the traveller experience with native advertising solutions. This role requires strong strategic thinking and collaboration skills.

Job Description

Who you are

You have extensive experience in product management, ideally with a focus on advertising or user experience. You thrive on variety and enjoy solving complex problems, turning strategy into seamless delivery. Your ability to champion data-driven decisions sets you apart, as you understand the importance of metrics in shaping product direction. You are a strong collaborator, able to work across disciplines and communicate effectively with various stakeholders. You have a knack for creating value for partners while keeping the traveller experience front and centre. You are passionate about travel and understand the challenges that come with planning trips, which drives your motivation to improve the advertising experience for users.

Desirable

Experience in the travel industry or with digital advertising products would be a plus. Familiarity with A/B testing and user research methodologies will help you in this role, as will any background in data analytics or performance marketing. You are comfortable with ambiguity and can adapt to changing priorities, ensuring that you remain focused on delivering value to users and partners alike.

What you'll do

As the Principal Product Manager, you will own the traveller experience related to advertising, shaping how users encounter ads that feel relevant and helpful. You will set the strategy for native advertising experiences, ensuring they align with Skyscanner's vision of being the world's number one travel ally. You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to launch features that enhance user engagement and satisfaction. Your role will involve defining success metrics, conducting user research, and iterating on product features based on feedback and data insights. You will lead cross-functional teams in the execution of product roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality advertising solutions. You will also be responsible for communicating product vision and updates to stakeholders, fostering a culture of transparency and collaboration within the team.
