What you'll do

As the Director of Hardware at Skyways, you will own the execution of aircraft hardware from initial design through to production and fielded reliability. You will lead a team of engineers and work closely with flight, software, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure that designs are effectively turned into operational aircraft. Your role will involve overseeing the testing and validation of hardware systems, ensuring they meet performance and reliability standards in the field.

You will be responsible for driving the hardware development process, implementing best practices, and continuously improving systems based on real-world feedback. Your leadership will be crucial in scaling the hardware operations as the company transitions from successful deployments to full production. You will also play a key role in strategic planning, helping to shape the future of air transportation through innovative hardware solutions.
