Who you are
You are an experienced data scientist with a strong background in machine learning and data analytics. With at least 5 years of experience, you have a proven track record of leveraging data to inform product development and optimize user experiences. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to convey complex insights effectively to cross-functional teams. Your curiosity drives you to explore data deeply, uncovering insights that can lead to significant business impact. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product, UX, and engineering teams to understand their goals and deliver actionable insights. You are comfortable designing metrics to analyze customer usage and optimize product features based on data-driven decisions.
Desirable
Experience with business intelligence tools and familiarity with statistical analysis techniques would be beneficial. A background in product analytics or user experience research is a plus, as is knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
What you'll do
In this role, you will drive product analytics initiatives at Smartsheet, leveraging your expertise in data science to create predictive and prescriptive insights. You will partner with product, UX, and engineering teams to understand their objectives and identify opportunities for data-driven improvements.
