You have 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, focusing on building and scaling CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation. Your expertise in cloud platforms, particularly AWS, allows you to design robust solutions that enhance operational efficiency. You are proficient in using GitLab for version control and CI/CD processes, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of software products. Your experience with Docker enables you to create and manage containerized applications, streamlining deployment processes across various environments. You understand the importance of monitoring frameworks and have implemented solutions that provide real-time insights into system performance and reliability. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working across departments, including Finance, IT, and Engineering, to support mission-critical integrations. You are committed to continuous improvement and are always looking for ways to optimize processes and enhance team productivity.

Desirable

Experience with additional tools such as Terraform for infrastructure as code and Ansible for configuration management would be a plus. Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana can further enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building and scaling CI/CD pipelines that support the deployment of Smartsheet's Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to automate manual processes and improve deployment efficiency. Your role will involve designing and implementing infrastructure automation solutions that ensure high availability and scalability of applications. You will monitor system performance and reliability, using your insights to drive improvements and resolve issues proactively. Collaborating with the Corporate Systems Development team, you will support integrations across various business functions, including Finance, People, Sales, Legal, and IT. You will also contribute to the development of monitoring frameworks that provide visibility into system health and performance metrics. Your expertise will help shape the future of Smartsheet's platform, empowering teams to achieve their goals more effectively.
