What you'll do

As a Principal Software Engineer in the Snowhouse Foundation, you will lead the design and implementation of highly available distributed platforms and data pipelines. Your role involves collaborating with product managers to define project scopes and objectives, ensuring that the technical solutions align with business goals.

You will take ownership of projects, driving them from idea formulation through to design, implementation, and successful deployment. This includes conducting code reviews, optimizing performance, and ensuring the reliability of the systems you build.

Your responsibilities will also include mentoring team members, sharing your expertise in software engineering best practices, and fostering a culture of innovation within the team. You will be instrumental in enhancing Snowflake's data infrastructure, contributing to the development of critical applications that provide insights into customer usage and resource consumption.
