Procurement Analyst • Senior

Who you are

You have a strong background in procurement processes and compliance, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. You understand the intricacies of the Purchasing, PR/PO lifecycle, and New Supplier Onboarding processes, both in the U.S. and internationally. Your ability to educate business stakeholders on adherence to policies and procedures is a key strength. You are skilled in managing supplier requests and procurement engagements, ensuring smooth communication and expectation management throughout the process. You have experience collaborating with legal and security departments to ensure vendor compliance with risk assessments and contractual requirements. Your understanding of banking requirements enables you to facilitate successful payments to global vendors, working closely with Accounts Payable.

Desirable

Experience with AI and automation tools is a plus, as you actively seek opportunities to streamline and optimize core procurement processes. You are familiar with system management and documentation, supporting new procurement system implementations and ongoing configuration efforts.

What you'll do

In this role, you will execute procurement processes and ensure compliance with existing policies. You will monitor and manage new supplier requests, guiding business stakeholders through the procurement engagement process. Your collaboration with Snowflake’s Legal and Security departments will be crucial in ensuring vendor compliance. You will also maintain a clear understanding of banking requirements to facilitate payments to global vendors. Additionally, you will support new procurement system implementations and identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation tools to enhance procurement efficiency.
