What you'll do

As a Staff Data Scientist at SoFi, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of the Personal Loans business. You will leverage your analytical expertise to create robust reporting systems that identify growth opportunities and insights. Your responsibilities will include building machine learning models using tools such as Snowflake, Airflow, dbt, and SageMaker, ensuring that these models are efficient and scalable. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights that drive business decisions.

In this role, you will also perform analytical deep-dives to uncover trends and patterns in data, providing valuable recommendations to enhance business performance. You will be responsible for balancing urgent requests while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality projects. Your leadership will help shape the data culture within the organization, promoting a data-informed approach to decision-making.
