Who you are
You have a Master's degree in a relevant field and possess strong analytical skills — your experience in data analysis and risk management has equipped you to identify and analyze market risks effectively. You are proficient in SQL and have a solid understanding of financial metrics such as fair market value and net interest income. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Risk, Product, and Pricing, allows you to drive strategic projects and initiatives successfully.
You are detail-oriented and have a knack for developing automated reporting packages — your previous roles have involved creating comprehensive reports that provide insights into market risk exposure. You understand the importance of documenting processes and maintaining procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency in risk management practices. Your communication skills enable you to present complex data in a clear and concise manner to senior management.
What you'll do
As a Treasury Market Risk Data Analytics Associate at SoFi, you will be responsible for identifying and analyzing market risks to develop risk reports that monitor daily exposure. You will collaborate with various business units to drive strategic projects and support the Asset-Liability Management (ALM) framework. Your role will involve automating senior management reporting packages for key metrics, ensuring that the information is accurate and timely.
You will conduct sensitivity testing of model assumptions to monitor the performance of the ALM model, working closely with the Risk, Product, and Pricing teams. Your responsibilities will also include documenting and maintaining procedures related to the forecasted balance sheet and embedding controls to enhance the risk management process. You will have the opportunity to participate in ALCO initiatives and contribute to the overall risk management strategy of the organization.
