You have a strong technical background in code quality, with experience as a Product Manager — you understand the needs of developers and can translate those into actionable product features. You are passionate about creating products that developers love, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can work closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
You possess a deep knowledge of code quality across various programming languages, enabling you to become an expert user of SonarSource products — you are comfortable diving into both high-level features and the technical aspects of analysis processing. Your ability to prioritize developer needs and clarify requirements will be key to your success in this role.
You are an excellent communicator, capable of articulating product vision and roadmaps to both technical and non-technical stakeholders — you enjoy engaging with users to gather feedback and iterate on product offerings. Your experience in product management equips you with the skills to manage roadmaps effectively and ensure alignment with company goals.
You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with other Product Managers and Engineering teams — you understand that the best products come from a collective effort and are eager to share your insights and learn from others. You are driven by the desire to help development teams write better and more secure code.
What you'll do
As a Technical Product Manager at SonarSource, you will be responsible for shaping the vision and roadmap for SonarQube Cloud, SonarQube Server, and SonarQube for IDE — you will research and prioritize the needs of developers to enhance the code quality offerings. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure that proposed solutions meet user expectations and deliver the best possible experience.
You will become an expert in SonarSource products, understanding both the high-level features and the technical details of the analysis processing — your insights will guide product development and help identify opportunities for improvement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define success metrics and track the performance of product features.
You will engage with users to gather feedback and iterate on product features, ensuring that the products you manage are not only functional but also loved by developers — your ability to translate user needs into product enhancements will be crucial. You will also participate in competitive analysis to keep SonarSource at the forefront of the code quality market.
