What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and advancing Sophos' cloud-based network security platform. You will design and implement new features from the ground up, ensuring they adhere to sound design principles focused on security and scalability. Your work will directly impact the security posture of numerous organizations, as you help defend against various cyber threats.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and other engineers, to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Your expertise will guide the development process, and you will be involved in code reviews, ensuring best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle.

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will also mentor junior developers, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them grow in their careers. You will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of the team and will be expected to stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the cybersecurity space.
