What you'll do

In this role, you will serve as the subject matter expert for the industrial hygiene and ergonomic programs at SpaceX's Bastrop facility. You will conduct on-site reviews of work processes and layouts to identify ergonomic stressors and develop solutions that mitigate risks. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing industrial hygiene programs that cover areas such as respiratory protection, chemical hygiene, and exposure control planning. You will also collaborate with EHS team members to complete job hazard assessments and provide expert guidance on compliance with applicable regulations.

You will lead root cause investigations into significant events, ensuring that findings are documented and communicated effectively. Your role will require you to stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes, allowing you to continuously improve the industrial hygiene programs. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that safety practices are integrated into all aspects of the workplace, contributing to a safer and healthier environment for all employees.
