Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in construction management, overseeing large-scale projects from inception to completion. Your strong leadership skills enable you to effectively manage teams and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project success. You are well-versed in safety regulations and have a proven track record of enforcing safety policies on job sites. Your ability to communicate effectively with contractors and internal teams allows you to resolve conflicts and maintain project timelines. You are detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills, which help you manage site logistics and resource allocation efficiently. You are familiar with construction management software and tools, such as AutoCAD, to assist in project planning and execution.

Desirable

Experience with high-impact construction projects in fast-paced environments is a plus. Familiarity with SpaceX's mission and values will help you align your work with the company's goals. A background in infrastructure development and activation will be beneficial in this role.

What you'll do

As a Senior Construction Superintendent at SpaceX, you will oversee the day-to-day management of construction projects at the Hawthorne campus. You will be responsible for managing construction site logistics, including work schedules, project progress, and resource allocation. Your independent judgment will be crucial in planning and supervising construction activities across various programs. You will implement and enforce safety policies, driving a culture of safety on the job site through collaboration with contractors and internal partners. Daily field coordination and conflict resolution will be key aspects of your role, ensuring that all parties are aligned and that projects stay on track. You will manage site logistics, including daily deliveries, offloading, inventory, storage, and staging of materials purchased by SpaceX. Your leadership will guide a team of laborers and contractors, enabling the successful build and activation of infrastructure for a variety of projects.
