Who you are
You have 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong background in SQL and Python — you've built data pipelines and have a solid understanding of data modeling and ETL processes. Your experience with machine learning and statistical analysis allows you to derive actionable insights from complex datasets. You are proficient in using tools like BigQuery and Apache Spark to handle large volumes of data efficiently. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with technical and business teams to drive customer acquisition and optimize business strategies.
Desirable
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or similar is a plus — you understand how to present data insights in a clear and impactful manner. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP will enhance your ability to work with scalable data solutions. You are passionate about leveraging data to drive business growth and have a keen interest in the latest technologies in data analytics and machine learning.
What you'll do
As a Data Engineer on the Starlink Growth Analytics & Automation Team, you will be responsible for developing key metrics and tools to assess the health of the Starlink business. You will extract valuable insights from data across all business units and the Starlink network itself, ensuring that customer acquisition processes are as efficient as possible. You will collaborate with various teams to design and implement data-driven strategies that enhance operational efficiency and drive growth. Your role will involve building high-visibility dashboards and reports that provide stakeholders with real-time insights into business performance. You will also be tasked with implementing machine learning models to automate data insights and improve decision-making processes.
