You have a strong background in electrical engineering with a focus on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) testing. Your experience includes performing emissions and immunity testing of electrical systems and components, ensuring they meet stringent performance standards. You are skilled at reading and interpreting complex technical drawings and specifications, allowing you to work effectively across various projects. You thrive in collaborative environments, engaging with design, manufacturing, and mission operations teams to ensure the highest quality in avionics hardware performance. Your attention to detail and analytical mindset enable you to identify potential issues and implement effective solutions. What you'll do
As an EMC/EMI Test Specialist at SpaceX, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive testing of avionics hardware to ensure its performance in extreme electromagnetic environments. You will collaborate closely with the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) team, performing exhaustive analysis and testing at various levels, including board, unit, subsystem, and system levels. Your role will involve designing and executing test plans, analyzing test results, and providing recommendations for improvements. You will also interact with a diverse range of hardware and electronics, contributing to the development of systems that support SpaceX's ambitious goals of expanding human space exploration capabilities. Your work will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our vehicles, including Dragon, Falcon, and Starship.
