Overview

SpaceX is hiring a Propulsion Technician (Raptor Flight) to assemble, troubleshoot, and maintain rocket engines. You'll work at the Starbase facility in Texas, supporting engineering and test operations.

Job Description

Who you are

You are a motivated individual eager to work in a hands-on role as a Propulsion Technician. You enjoy assembling, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex systems, particularly in the aerospace sector. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety ensure that you contribute to a clean and efficient work environment. You are comfortable reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions, and you are willing to travel frequently to support engine operations at different sites.

What you'll do

As a Propulsion Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, troubleshooting, and repairing flight and development engines. You will stage, set up, and install flight hardware while ensuring that all processes meet safety and quality standards. Your role will involve preparing engine and test articles, as well as supporting test operations at the launch and test facility. You will work closely with engineering teams to suggest and implement process improvements, contributing to the overall success of SpaceX's mission to enable human life on Mars.
