Who you are
You have a strong background in equipment maintenance, particularly in high-stakes manufacturing environments. Your experience includes performing preventative and corrective maintenance on complex automation systems, ensuring optimal performance of critical assets. You are skilled in troubleshooting and resolving issues in control, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components, including PLCs, servomotors, and KUKA robotics.
You possess a solid understanding of safety protocols and are committed to upholding operational reliability and efficiency. Your analytical problem-solving skills enable you to interpret schematics and document repairs effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineering and production teams to deliver permanent solutions.
What you'll do
As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting SpaceX’s Starship operations team. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining and repairing all assets to ensure their proper operating condition. You will provide preventative and corrective maintenance on various complex automation systems, troubleshooting and repairing control and electrical system failures involving PLCs, HMIs, servomotors, and servo amplifiers.
You will be responsible for interpreting schematics and documenting repairs, applying your analytical skills to deliver permanent solutions. Your hands-on approach will be essential in resolving issues in hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and safely. You will collaborate with engineering and production teams to uphold the operational reliability of the Starship program, directly contributing to the success of SpaceX’s mission to advance human space exploration.
