You have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with hands-on experience in the production and testing of complex hardware systems. You are skilled at troubleshooting and implementing design upgrades to enhance performance and reliability. You understand the importance of quality and efficiency in high-rate production settings, and you are committed to delivering exceptional results.
You have experience working with propulsion components or similar technologies, and you are familiar with the challenges of operating in high-pressure and temperature environments. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, allowing you to tackle open-ended failure investigations effectively. You are a proactive communicator, able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure mission success. You are passionate about aerospace engineering and are excited about the opportunity to contribute to SpaceX's mission of enabling human life on Mars.
Desirable

What you'll do
As a Components Build and Test Engineer, you will own the production, assembly, and testing of propulsion components for SpaceX's Falcon vehicles. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues at test and launch sites, ensuring that all components meet the highest standards of reliability and performance. Your hands-on testing will inform development and root cause investigations, allowing you to implement design or test upgrades that enhance component reliability and reuse.
You will work closely with other engineers and technicians to develop innovative solutions to complex problems, ensuring that all components are delivered at an industry-leading rate without sacrificing quality.
