Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and possess a strong foundation in electrical, mechanical, or embedded engineering principles. You have experience in developing manufacturing and test processes, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can interface with technicians, specialists, and engineers across multiple disciplines. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for problem-solving, particularly in evaluating non-conformances and driving corrective actions. Your ability to scrutinize designs for manufacturability, reliability, and repeatability sets you apart.
Desirable
Experience with satellite systems or aerospace engineering is a plus. Familiarity with assembly flow management and test operations will enhance your ability to succeed in this role. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to innovative solutions that push the boundaries of technology.
What you'll do
As an Integration & Test Engineer, you will lead the development of manufacturing and test processes for satellite sub-assemblies, including sensors, instruments, actuators, batteries, and antennas. You will define and manage the assembly flow and test operations within the production area, ensuring that day-to-day execution runs smoothly by eliminating blockers and waste. Your role will involve developing and refining manufacturing assembly procedures based on lessons learned and feedback from the production team. You will evaluate non-conformances to determine root causes and implement corrective actions, ensuring that all hardware meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.
You will interface with production, design engineering, and supply chain teams to provide input into the design and development of new and existing hardware. Your insights will help optimize manufacturing processes and enhance the reliability of the systems being developed. You will be responsible for scrutinizing current and proposed designs, ensuring they are manufacturable and reliable, and you will work closely with technicians and engineers to foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and efficiency.
