Overview
SpaceX is hiring an Integration & Test Engineer for the Starlink project to manage integration build flow and test operations. You'll work closely with engineers and technicians to optimize manufacturing and automation processes. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 1 year of professional experience.

Who you are
You hold a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and have at least 1 year of professional experience in integration and testing. You possess a strong understanding of design, schematics, operations, manufacturing, and testing processes, which allows you to tackle challenges across various work centers. Your engineering intuition and critical thinking skills enable you to work effectively under ambiguous requirements with minimal oversight.
You are comfortable interfacing with both engineers and technicians, optimizing manufacturing and automation processes. Your ability to evaluate proposed designs for manufacturability and integration is key to your success in this role. You are proactive in developing and refining manufacturing assembly procedures based on lessons learned, ensuring that the integration and test flow runs smoothly.
What you'll do
As an Integration & Test Engineer, you will manage the integration build flow and test operations for the Starlink project. Your responsibilities will include evaluating proposed designs for manufacturability and integration, interfacing with engineers and technicians to optimize processes, and developing manufacturing assembly procedures. You will enable the day-to-day execution of vehicle integration and test flow, ensuring that satellites achieve their mission.
You will also evaluate non-conformances to determine root causes and create actionable items for system improvements. Your role will require you to collaborate with various teams across the company, tackling new inter-departmental development projects as they arise. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring the success of SpaceX's mission to enable human life on Mars.
