Who you are
You have a strong background in electrical engineering with a focus on EMI and EMC, ideally with experience in aviation systems. You understand the complexities of integrating satellite technology into aircraft and have a keen eye for detail when it comes to hardware performance. Your analytical skills allow you to perform exhaustive analysis and design, ensuring that all systems meet stringent compatibility requirements.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with electrical, silicon, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to improve product reliability and performance. Your experience includes running root cause investigations and solving aviation-specific EMI compatibility issues, making you a valuable asset to any engineering team.
What you'll do
As an Electromagnetic Effects Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the hardware performance of Starlink equipment on various aircraft. You will conduct detailed analysis and design work, focusing on the effects of electromagnetic interference and compatibility. Your role will involve extensive testing at the board, unit, subsystem, and system levels, providing you with the opportunity to interact with a wide array of aircraft systems and ground support electronics.
You will lead efforts to solve EMI compatibility issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the reliability and performance of in-flight connectivity solutions.
