You have a strong background in supply chain management, with experience in procurement, planning, and logistics. You understand the complexities of managing a supply chain in a fast-paced environment and are adept at developing sourcing strategies that align with business objectives. Your ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders is essential for optimizing the value of products and services.
You are skilled in identifying cost reduction opportunities and executing projects that enhance efficiency. Your analytical mindset allows you to assess risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with sourcing strategies. You thrive in collaborative settings and are committed to continuous improvement in supply chain processes.
What you'll do
In this role, you will create sourcing strategies for assigned categories, focusing on reducing risk and achieving purchasing department targets. You will develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to create strategic sourcing models that optimize product and service value. Your responsibilities will include communicating and managing compliance with sourcing strategies, as well as identifying and executing cost reduction projects.
You will coordinate with various stakeholders to plan and estimate project completion, providing updates as necessary. Your role will be pivotal in enabling SpaceX to meet its ambitious growth targets and contribute to the mission of making humanity a multi-planetary species.
