You are detail-oriented and capable of implementing sustainable cost controls while developing cost reduction improvement plans with suppliers. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on quality and timelines. Your collaborative approach allows you to work closely with production counterparts and engineering teams to meet specifications and align with the MRP Demand plan.

What you'll do

As a Sourcing Manager at SpaceX, you will play a critical role in enabling the Starship mission by managing an agile and robust supply chain. You will analyze supplier spend and capacity, developing overall negotiation strategies that enhance supplier engagement. Your responsibilities will include implementing cost controls and developing improvement plans to ensure that work centers are prepared to build on time. You will have extreme ownership of material health, working closely with production and engineering teams to monitor start and finish dates, as well as cycle times.

You will be responsible for solving problems related to production processes, including managing design change cut-ins and recovering from shortages. Your role will require you to ensure that lineside health meets specifications and that reorder points are aligned with demand plans. You will contribute to the overall success of SpaceX's supply chain, helping the company achieve its ambitious growth targets and contribute to making humanity a multi-planetary species.
