What you'll do

As a Manufacturing Engineer for Raptor machining, you will identify, develop, and implement machining processes specifically for valve, turbopump, thrust chamber, or injector hardware. You will work closely with design engineers to ensure that design for manufacturing (DFM) principles are integrated into production. Your role will involve managing change effectively and ensuring that all processes are robust and capable of meeting production goals.

You will be responsible for implementing machining process controls that allow for efficient production, including the ability to run operations with minimal intervention. Your collaboration with machinists and technicians will be crucial in solving any production problems that arise, ensuring that the manufacturing process is smooth and efficient. You will leverage your expertise to drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the Raptor program.
