Who you are
You have a strong background in mechanical engineering with experience in designing and analyzing combustion devices. Your expertise in structures, materials, and fluid systems allows you to ensure maximum reliability and rapid production of critical hardware. You are proficient in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and SolidWorks, and have a keen awareness of design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA). You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineers and technicians to integrate hardware into complex systems. Your problem-solving skills enable you to lead the resolution of issues encountered during manufacturing and testing phases.
Desirable
Experience with rocket propulsion systems or aerospace applications is a plus. Familiarity with advanced manufacturing techniques and materials science will enhance your contributions to the team. A passion for space exploration and a desire to contribute to groundbreaking technologies will drive your success in this role.
What you'll do
As a Mechanical Engineer for Raptor Combustion Devices, you will take ownership of critical hardware, ensuring all aspects of design, analysis, and production meet target rates.
