You are a curious and driven problem-solver with a passion for complex signal environments and cutting-edge technology. Your expertise in SIGINT sensor technologies and Electronic Warfare (EW) employment allows you to uncover patterns in data and understand how electronic systems interact. You thrive in cross-functional teams and are excited about developing advanced platforms to meet U.S. Government needs.

With a strong background in the design, development, and integration of advanced communication systems, you have a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions. You are comfortable taking full responsibility for integrating capabilities into Starshield platforms and systems, serving as the primary point of contact for ongoing feature definition and development of new waveform capabilities.

Desirable

Experience with government contracts or national security projects is a plus. Familiarity with SpaceX’s Starlink technology and its applications in government use will set you apart. You are adaptable and eager to learn, ready to tackle the challenges that come with working on advanced systems for various missions.

What you'll do

As a Mission Integration Engineer, you will lead a cross-functional team in the design and integration of advanced communication systems tailored for Starshield Missions. You will be responsible for ensuring that all systems meet the specific needs of the U.S. Government, focusing on earth observation, communications, and hosted payloads. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to define and develop new waveform capabilities that enhance mission effectiveness.

You will engage in the full lifecycle of system integration, from initial design through to deployment and operational support. This includes conducting thorough testing and validation of systems to ensure they meet stringent performance and reliability standards. You will also be involved in ongoing feature definition, working closely with engineers and project managers to prioritize development tasks and align them with mission objectives.

Your responsibilities will extend to mentoring junior engineers and fostering a collaborative team environment. You will be expected to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that project goals are clearly understood and met.
