SpaceX is hiring a Production Coordinator for their Starship Components Machining team on the 2nd shift. You'll coordinate the movement of parts through production to ensure timely delivery. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.

Who you are
You have experience in production coordination or a similar role, where you've developed strong organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You understand the importance of timely delivery and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that parts are handled and protected according to specifications. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can effectively communicate with various teams to ensure smooth operations.
You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with planning, procurement, engineering, and production teams to maintain accurate MRP/ERP data. Your problem-solving skills allow you to assist in resolving any discrepancies that may arise, ensuring that production schedules remain on track. You are proactive in updating and utilizing management systems to drive results and improve efficiency.
What you'll do
As a Production Coordinator, you will monitor, track, and move parts through the production flow, ensuring that components are delivered on time to the next production location. You will coordinate the physical movement of parts through various stages, including receiving inspection and stock rooms, while maintaining compliance with SpaceX specifications. Your role will involve working closely with production supervisors and managers to ensure that all metrics-driven action requirements are completed.
You will communicate part status and estimated completion dates to relevant stakeholders, assisting production leadership and project teams as needed. Your attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring that parts are handled properly and that any off-site processing is coordinated effectively to meet delivery timelines. You will play a vital role in supporting the production staff and contributing to the overall success of SpaceX's manufacturing operations.
