SpaceX is hiring a Production Coordinator for the Heatshield team to ensure timely delivery of parts for integration and testing. You'll work closely with planning, procurement, engineering, and production teams to maintain workflow consistency. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Who you are

You have experience in production coordination or logistics, ensuring timely delivery of components in a manufacturing environment. Your strong organizational skills enable you to monitor and track parts effectively, ensuring they move through various stages of production without delays. You understand the importance of workflow consistency and accuracy, and you are committed to driving down internal logistics lead-time. You are detail-oriented and ensure that parts are handled and protected according to specifications. You thrive in collaborative environments, working with cross-functional teams to maintain clean and accurate data in MRP/ERP systems.

What you'll do

As a Production Coordinator at SpaceX, you will be responsible for monitoring and tracking the movement of parts through the company to ensure timely delivery to the next production location. You will push and pull the physical movement of parts through various work centers, including receiving inspection, stock rooms, and production resources. Your role will involve promoting workflow consistency and accuracy while working to reduce internal logistics lead-time. You will coordinate off-site processing of parts and collaborate with planning, procurement, engineering, and production teams to maintain accurate MRP/ERP data. Additionally, you will assist in resolving incorrect system data that could lead to inappropriate demand or scheduling issues. You will develop and maintain reports to highlight needs, deliverables, and constraints for internal and customer use, ensuring that production leadership is informed and able to make data-driven decisions.
