You have a solid background in using tools like Altium Designer for layout design and are familiar with Embedded Linux systems. Your experience includes working on multiple silicon projects, where you have contributed to the integration of complex systems and architectures. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for pushing the boundaries of technology in aerospace applications.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be an integral part of the IC design team at SpaceX, focusing on the layout design of RFICs for the Starlink project. You will collaborate with engineers from various disciplines, including systems architecture, ASIC design, and firmware, to ensure that the designs meet the rigorous standards required for deployment in space and ground infrastructures. Your responsibilities will include leading layout design efforts, optimizing designs for performance and manufacturability, and participating in design reviews to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.

You will also be involved in testing and validation processes, working closely with manufacturing and production teams to address any issues that arise during the fabrication of silicon. Your contributions will directly impact the performance and reliability of the Starlink system, helping to provide fast and reliable internet to millions of users worldwide.
