What you'll do

As an RFIC Layout Designer at SpaceX, you will be an integral part of the IC design team, working on multiple silicon projects that drive innovation in satellite technology. You will lead the layout design process, ensuring that designs meet stringent performance and reliability requirements. Collaborating closely with systems architecture, ASIC design, and firmware teams, you will contribute to the development of the world’s largest satellite constellation, Starlink. Your role will involve utilizing tools like Altium Designer to create detailed layouts and working with cross-functional teams to validate designs through rigorous testing. You will also be responsible for optimizing layouts for power and performance, ensuring that our technologies can withstand the unique challenges of space deployment.
