What you'll do

As a Network Automation Engineer at SpaceX, you will be responsible for deploying, upgrading, and maintaining the Starshield service provider network. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement monitoring strategies that provide visibility into network performance. Your role will involve scaling the network to meet the demands of government customers while ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and securely.

You will take ownership of the design and implementation of tooling that enhances the operational capabilities of the network. This includes developing scripts and automation tools that streamline processes and improve the overall performance of the network. You will also be tasked with measuring network uptime and performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that enhance reliability.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will act as a technical product owner, guiding the development of network automation tools and ensuring they align with the needs of the Starshield team. Your contributions will directly impact the success of critical national security missions, making your work both challenging and rewarding.
