SpaceX is hiring an Industrial Gases Technician to provide ground system technician support for industrial tank farm equipment. You'll be responsible for installing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining high-pressure gas systems. This role requires knowledge of pressurized components and safety regulations.
Job Description
Who you are
You are an entry-level technician with a strong understanding of industrial gases and their applications. You have experience or knowledge in installing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment related to high-pressure and low-pressure gas systems. You are familiar with safety regulations and procedures related to pressurized components and systems. You are detail-oriented and capable of collaborating with engineers to ensure proper maintenance and operation of gas systems. You are willing to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses or certifications required for the role.
What you'll do
As an Industrial Gases Technician at SpaceX, you will provide essential support for ground systems by installing and maintaining industrial tank farm equipment. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and fixing issues with pumps, tanks, valves, and plumbing associated with gas systems. You will work closely with design and build engineers to understand the systems and contribute to a preventative maintenance plan. You will also be responsible for supplying industrial packaged gases to production and test consumers, ensuring safe operation of pressurized test systems. Your role will involve making repairs to existing piping infrastructure and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and SpaceX procedures.
