What you'll do

As a Propulsion Engineer at SpaceX, you will own the development of combustion hardware from concept through to successful flight operations. You will be responsible for defining hardware design requirements and ensuring that production meets target throughput rates. Your role will involve coordinating with a team of engineers to achieve project goals, assigning clear responsibilities, and holding teammates accountable for execution. You will collaborate with other engineering teams to design and develop hardware that meets high-level engine objectives. Additionally, you will identify and drive design changes that enhance performance and reliability. You will manage the transition of prototype parts from concept through development to production and operations, establishing requirements for hardware and ensuring that adjacent systems meet those requirements. Your participation in developing test requirements and conducting tests will be crucial to the success of the projects you lead.
