You have a strong background in propulsion engineering, with experience in the development and operation of engine ignition systems. Your expertise allows you to effectively manage the design, analysis, and sequencing of engine operations, ensuring reliability from startup to shutdown. You thrive in collaborative environments, coordinating with engineers and technicians across multiple disciplines to achieve project goals. You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can lead informal teams to execute complex tasks efficiently.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the design and development of the Raptor ignition system, focusing on the transient sequences necessary for engine operation. You will be responsible for ensuring that all hardware meets production requirements and operates reliably during all phases of flight.
