Who you are

You have a Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of experience in aerospace, military, manufacturing, production, or testing environments β€” your background has equipped you with the technical understanding necessary for quality assurance processes. With at least 1+ years of experience leading a team or project, you are adept at driving accountability and performance within your team. You possess a technical understanding of in-process, final inspection, and visual inspection methods using borescopes, which allows you to navigate challenging situations effectively. Your ability to succinctly communicate complex ideas makes you a valuable team member.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead a team of quality inspector staff and drive accountability for team performance. You will supervise the completion of Falcon Quality Assurance activities using SpaceX processes and systems in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. Implementing training and certifications as needed will be crucial to maintaining a highly skilled, flexible, and capable workforce. You will lead the RCCA process, performing root cause analysis and product containment, and recommending and supporting the implementation of corrective actions necessary to reduce or eliminate recurring non-conformances. Overseeing the critical characteristic control within the production process will also be part of your responsibilities, including establishing necessary equipment and layout requirements.
