Overview
SpaceX is hiring a Launch Quality Inspector for their 2nd shift to perform in-process inspections on rocket components. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and at least 2 years of experience in inspection. You understand the importance of quality assurance and are committed to ensuring that all components meet or exceed design specifications. You are detail-oriented and capable of documenting production and test anomalies accurately. You possess strong communication skills to help resolve quality-related issues effectively. You are eager to work with cutting-edge rocket technology and contribute to mission success.
What you'll do
As a Launch Quality Inspector, you will perform both in-process and final inspections on structural and propulsion components, ensuring adherence to design, specification, and testing requirements. You will document any production and test anomalies according to prescribed procedures and processes. Your role will involve communicating with team members to resolve quality-related issues and processing non-conforming products. You will routinely observe technical operations and offer guidance as an additional technical resource. You will determine manufacturing compliance with NASA and customer specifications to meet launch and mission requirements.
