Who you are
You are a detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to quality assurance in manufacturing environments. You understand the importance of being the last line of defense in ensuring mission success, and you thrive in hands-on roles that involve working with advanced technology. You are capable of interpreting detailed drawings and CAD models to verify conformance to design requirements. Your communication skills enable you to effectively document production and test anomalies, and you are proactive in resolving quality-related issues. You are familiar with compliance standards and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all products meet or exceed specifications.
What you'll do
As a Quality Inspector at SpaceX, you will perform in-process and end-of-line inspections on flight hardware, ensuring that all key performance and design characteristics are met. You will document any production and test anomalies according to prescribed procedures and processes, and you will communicate effectively with engineering teams to help resolve quality-related issues. Your role will involve processing non-conforming products and assisting engineering in root cause analysis and corrective action. You will routinely observe technical operations and provide guidance, serving as an additional technical resource to ensure compliance with NASA and customer specifications.
